I'm strictly talking about the board hiring those with no experience

to take on a tough job when experience was needed. That includes Adams at the moment, Gunn in 2009 and Grant in 2006.

As Pants alluded to, some of the same board members remain from those previous times, so there's definitely a link to those same sorts of mistakes being made. Obviously we won't know the full reasons for the same mistakes being made again, but I think we all have our suspicions as to why they've been made again...
