That presumes they will make a loss, but given that they lost 34m last year.

However, those rules only apply to the Championship. In the EPL they will be allowed to lose up to 35m a year over 3 years (i.e. 105m in total) before any sanction is applied. The sanction (currently) would be a points deduction. So they can't go completely mad.
