I'm with the dook on this

we do actually have some pretty decent attacking players. It's not all about out-and-out strikers, and anyway, Rooney is still good, hence his amazing record in the premier league over the past few seasons (against decent level defenders). Likewise Sturridge, Sterling, Lallana....there is some quality there.

Our defenders / defensive midfielders aren't as good.
