Didn't someone on here allude to an agreement between Mackay and Tan

Whereby Mackay settled for even more than he was seeking in exchange for letting Tan trash him in the media? At the time I thought it was nonsense but reading this kind of story after the case was spontaneously dropped does make you wonder.
