from the footballing gods that have conspired against us (e.g. moyes getting the heave ho just when they were ripe for a turnover) to the rest of the well documented rabbit in the headlights approach of the board to the inevitable and all ports in-between. the craven chasing of income passed off as "every spare penny will be invested in the squad" when it was spunked away impetuously on utter dross like rvw.

and now? now we are expected to pin all our hopes on another manager and sleepwalk our way onto the next crushing disappointment.
