But of course, that's a medium term thing at best, which has been made all the more difficult by relegation.

I think the club needs new ideas in the Cortese mould. On the plus side, Zola - if he were appointed - would deliver some of that. But I also think the club needs to be FAR more honest, stop bulls**tting, and REALLY accept responsibility for this situation.

Don't blame others when you sacked them with the team 5 points above the bottom 3. Look at yourselves, hold your hands up and don't treat the supporters (please note the usual sop to the Yellow Army) as fools.

It's just... classless. And that constant corporate bottom line focus was actually a huge part of what led our football to be as hideous as it was, and what led them to leave Hughton in the job for as long as they did.
