Promotion obviously but......must be a great wheeler and dealer as we need to cut the wage bill and put money in the war chest.
Malky knows the players in the champs and below levels, like Hoots, didn't do so well when he had 5M+ to spend on players.
Saying that he will be under much more scrutiny/control from the board at NCFC than he appeared to be at Cardiff.
Lennon, proven wheeler and dealer in the 3M and less player market. Spotted some great talent at bargain prices. Took a chance on players bigger teams rejected and mostly got it right.
He constantly watched championship games eying up possible talent.
He also has a decent record of selling talent for premium money. (something we will need to do this summer)
In my opinion either one would be a decent option. Neither is brash or crazy monkey tilting.
Malky would fit in better as the face of NCFC but is the club looking for a more exciting brand of football.
Adams would be a huge gamble and after the Gunn fiasco im not sure if they want to go through that again.
In my opinion he went down a notch in the Chelsea game. He still seems convinced that getting "something" from the game was the right move.
Maybe for him personally it showed he has great tactical nous to compete against bigger teams.
I think he is obviously a good coach and would be an amazing asset at the club especially with his knowledge of the young players coming through.
Maybe him and Malky would be a dream team of sorts.
I trust the board to do the right thing, they probably know what is needed.
I actually think they got both of their appointments spot on.
