rink after to allow for the queues to disappear, there's plenty of on-street free parking a little further out - as long as you're parking after 5pm
it isn't designed and purpose built as an entertainment venue so the sound quality does suffer (as i assume you're doing the James & Starsailor gig that'll go in your favour :-P if you were going for a comedy gig though, don't sit in the middle on the seats on the floor - for some reason it's always a dead space for the sound - fine everywhere else)
the Guinness is s**t and expensive, but is better than the Murphy's they used to serve - if it's mad at the bar pre-gig (or between bands) nip across the road for a swift one in the Red Cow
