Assuming we go down tonight, a win or draw against the Arsenal will guarantee 18th place, which nets us an additional 2.4m in prize money.

To put that in context, we'd make more money by being two places higher then being shown on tv every other week next season.

At this point, the extra cash could make the difference between buying a couple of reasonable champs players.
