Other than the united game and the first half against liverpool. I think he's done a decent job. He chose good tactics to thwart our opponents, in particular Chelsea.
However, I don't think that's necessarily that difficult. The challenge is selecting a team that can impose itself on lesser opponents. Lambert was excellent at this. It's fine to match up the opposition, it's quite something else to design a strategy to be more effective than them.
Adams might be good at this, we don't know. What we do know though, is that the decisions of whoever is in charge this summer is going to have a huge bearing on the short to medium term future of the club. We're in great shape to cement ourselves as a yo-yo club. If it goes wrong though we could easily start to slide back into championship mediocrity or worse.
I'm excited about the future of the club notwithstanding the looming spectre of relegation.
