him but what you should be asking is why we've created a society that's allowed State sponsorship of the property market allow a few at the top to make a fortune at the expense of people like your son. Of course hard work should be part of any house purchase but why have subsequent governments propped up the housing market and shielded it from the natural effects of supply and demand?
