I get what you're saying but...

Hooper scored against Liverpool when they were two goals up. They eased off the pressure and sat back and we took advantage of them. Liverpool play a very different style of football to Chelsea and they are very inconsistent at the back.

Chelsea, on the other hand, we're pushing for that goal. We could have brought Hooper on but he'd have to have been no higher up the pitch than Howson or Tettey had to be to keep Chelsea out.

We got the best result we could against a team who desperately wanted a goal. Had Sunderland not been on the run they've been, it may have been enough for us but we're not going to go down because Adams didn't bring on a striker against Chelsea, we'll go down because those strikers didn't score enough goals in the 33 games before he took over.
