he's scored several goals this season just by being in the area and having the ball fall to him on a plate. As it is, we finished with a lone forward who is awful at finishing - I don't think that maximised our chances of scoring.
It seemed from the post match interviews that the players and manager were happy with a point, so I'm not sure how much we really did go for it. Also didn't we have a player booked for time wasting late on?
Chelsea may well have scored if we had pushed forward, but I'm not sure the home game is an appropriate comparison. We were dominating possession and putting them under pressure, which wouldn't have been the case yesterday. Also their goals then did come on counter attacks, but the key one was largely down to horrendous defending rather than being torn apart on the break.
