A quick observation......... ...

Imagine If anything but a win today would have 100% guaranteed relegation.

Im sure most people would agree that it would have been absolutely 100% crazy to not empty the clip to try and win the game.........

yet because a draw leaves us in a 98% relegation situation it seems reasonable to some to not open up (as neil suggested in his post match interview)

This thinking just seems totally bizarre from a purely logical "game theory" perspective.

You make decisions that have the most possible overall long term gain regardless of the result of that individual trial/game.
