Charles is right in that it's not ALL down to the manager, by the way. There's tons of factors: boardroom decisions are at least as important. But get the managerial choice wrong, and there's no chance.

Inexcusable if we go with someone with 5 games experience who no other club in the top 2 divisions would dream of appointing. We'll deserve everything we get if we do.
