I wanted him out in October but kept quiet because I really wanted him to succeed. The FA Cup was the final straw for me, although I was still hoping to be proved wrong on him.

Who did I want to replace him? I would have gone for Colin, not popular but I don't want a manager to be popular, I want him to do a job.
