Looking at today ...

I think the sides that will be relegated have on face of if deserved the relegation.
Cardiff have been awful and out classed all season. Fulham have been so bad at the back and they invested money in at first ageing has bins and a ?12m player who played 1 game.
And us .... Look at it this way Sunderland did what we couldn't go and get a result against Man U away. We got beat 4 - 0 and they won 1 - 0.
This isn't one of those I'm angry at the board posts ... They backed their man in the summer and it didn't work and I'm not even angry at hughton ... I think maybe just maybe we might have scraped enough points to stay up had we kept him.
But I haven't been happy watching Norwich in the premier league since lambert left .. We "scraped enough together" last year and our 11th place flattered our performances which were boring and flat.
It's time to rebuild the 3 years in the top tier has wiped all our debt ... That is massive and I doubt Cardiff and Fulham will have that. We have a low wage structure as it is and we what will stay is the start of a good squad. Hughton may have not had the footballing philosophy I liked but between him and McNally he bought some bargins. I mean we talk about the flop that was RVW ... We spent ? 8.5 m and reportedly not a huge wage to bring him in ... Cardiff spent ?9 on some Norwegian chap who's name eludes me and he was so bad they binned him off for ?3m in jan ... Fulham have bent on a small fortune and spent ?13m on mitroglu and god knows how much he is on.
The question is who can we get with the correct philosophy to take this club properly to the next level and will the board back them with enough cash to ensure it happens as soon as possible. I personally would like to maybe give a foreign manager a go. Change the style of football we have been playing and do a Southampton ... Eventually
