I've never made a conscious decision to support The Norwich. I cannot remember any time when I didn't support The Norwich. For this I blame early-years indoctrination from my elder brothers (the old man wasn't that arsed about the football, but they did see a lot of the 50s cup run).

So, for how long have I been a The Norwich fan? I'm 37 (shut up), my earliest memory is from age 3 or 4,or something. So is it 33/34 years?

Or do I work it from my first visit to The FCR? That was at age 9, I think, so by that reckoning, 28 years.

But that can't be right, because I was a The Norwich fan earlier than my first visit to The FCR.

"Thirty-odd years" probably right.
