I am pretty sure McNally confirmed that premier league contracts these days all have a stepped component whereby wages are reduced on relegation.
As I said, I think QPR were the last club to screw up over this but have since adjusted theirs.
Any promoted club cant afford to do anything else or they would do a "Leeds"
