The way i look at it

We kinda fluked our way to 11th last season. However people want to reshape history, we were very close to going down, and managed to play two teams, truly 'on the beach', giving the final table a much better look about it than we deserved.

The fact is, we managed to stay up for the most lucrative PL season in history, meaning we will go into the Champs with cash in the bank (paid off our debt LAST season - I'd assume we will be well in the black this season), and a huge parachute payment.

I know it's not all about money, but we were close to going under, only a few years ago, and we are now in a better financial position than anytime in recent memory.

Next season will be more fun than the last two seasons of dull, predictable, defensive football. Maybe I'm deluding myself but, right now, I am actually really looking forward to it.
