when Johnson is under pressure - he hoofs it into channel behind the opposition right back. When Howson is under pressure, he tries to dribble out of it and usually runs down a blind alley.
When Fer is pressured, he always tries to keep the ball and won't panic and give a team-mate a hospital pass. The lack of options offered from our midfield make it very difficult though, so he gets caught at times.
Put him along side better players and I'm sure he would look very, very good. The same can't be said for our other midfielders.
