Sorry to hear that from a fellow wrother

and human being. Been through it mate and you're right...it's the end of the world at the time and you can't see a way forward as it's into the dark unknown and you wonder at times if it's all worth it. Takes time to get your head round that it is worth it after all. You never forget but the continuous torture your mind puts you through diminishes. If like me the worst part is your son not being there (in my case three boys) you will come to terms with it eventually but it's far far from easy.

Keeping occupied and clearing your head at night so you get some quality sleep helped me so hope you're in a better place now.

When a woman leaves she'll have been planning it so is ready for the split. The bloke knows the day he's told or finds out so the two parties are initially poles apart in attitude to the split.

Best wishes for continued positive attitude. It's the only way and it does gets better with time.
