that's really a different point though

in fact, stems from the same thing. As more and more tv money gets thrown at prem clubs (dwarfing gate revenue etc), they get more and more equal, with the exception of the biggest ones who also get Champs league money etc.

But they also get further and further away from the financial situation of league clubs. And so regular promotion and relegation between the two becomes more and more of an anomaly.
