I did wonder as I was typing that, if it 'affects' the 'expat' community of fans more
and your post kind of reinforces it a little. Simply because the social aspect will be there regardless, the fans community is still there, and - save for a couple of thousand maybe (who will no doubt be replaced by a couple of thousand 'newbies') - the ground will still by and large be full. In that respect, it kind of affects 'us' less i'd say.
