I was at Portaloo Road with Gemma

A few selected memories

1.Getting there around 6.30pm walking past a bunch of scummers who screamed obscenities at us and other families and kids. Telling Gemma to laugh and smile at them!

2.Seats in the back row of the lower bit right next to the home fans, seeing their reaction as we celebrated each goal.

3.Connor Wigwam looking dreadful, running past Russell Martin once and booming a shot into the back of the stand

4.Not buying any drinks from the ground but being very thirsty. But finally relenting when Gemma really wanted one.

5.Just after I bought the drink we scored the 3rd goal and I was at the front. I walked back with it after hugging a number of random people on the way back to our seats.

6. Being amazed at the scoreline and doing a 4-1 double. Then scoring the fifth at the end.

7. The complete disorganisation at the end in getting to the station and then having to put myself in danger to prevent Gemma getting done by a surge.
