Surprisingly negative on here today

Not sure what people expected of us yesterday? Perfection it seems.

We ran the champions of this year bloody close. Despite conceding 2 very unlucky goals via deflections. First goal was a killer, and while it was a great hit, it would NOT have gone in but for a big deflection taking it right in the top corner.

Their second goal was brilliant I thought, sensational movement. But some seem to expect our players to have perfect 360 degree vision and anticipation.

Third goal began with a suicidal pass, but we were again supremely unlucky with the deflection. When was the last time we benefited from a slice of luck like that?

I can't think of anyone who had a bad game, and I thought a few had great games. Howson, for example, put in a top shift.

This nonsense about Liverpool having a cigar on. Rubbish. Did you see how knackered they looked? They gave everything to defeat us, including putting on an extra defender.

The criticism of Neyul is crazy. He's got no points but has extracted two good performances on the bounce, which with a bit of luck could have both secured points. They didn't, but have you lot forgotten west Brom, home? Swansea away? Villa away? Soton away? What were getting now is massively better than under Hoots.

Chin up people. Some of you are whining like Wolves fans of yore. We f**ked up by not sacking him after fulham at home. But there's no changing that now. We're probably f**ked, but if we get 3 more performances like the last two, I'll be okay.
