I read the taylor report this morning and unless I am mistaken I thought

The problem was the delay of fans going into the leppings lane end albeit because of lack of turnstiles etc. It stated that in the previous semi the year before whereas 20000 fans were in by 2.30 this time only 12000 Liverpool fans were in leaving not enough time before kick off hence the rush towards the end. It also stated that as time went on fans then realised the delay ahead and impatience outside ensued causing fans at the front to start getting crushed outside.What happened since was disgraceful regarding the cover up but we will never know how many if any would have died outside. I honestly believe though that it would sadly take this to happen to change safety and football grounds in general.
