banks, specifically lloyds bank

just been and checked my statement and noticed in my statement an "everyday offer" for morrisons the supermarket. basically, if i spend over 100 quid there then i will automatically get 5% cashback put onto my debit card.

is this banks doing suffern similar to the google ads banner up the top of this page but with my account? is this legal? huh?
