The level of criticism the club is going to get for this is tedious

I doubt many boards would have been as patient with some of the dross that's been dished up at points over the last 15 months.

The second half of west ham at home saved Hughton, if we'd lost that, sacking him would not have been met with the same level of patronising bollocks.
