and it never crossed my mind yesterday that they weren't giving their absolute best. I'm sure they were. But... the way they are instructed to play doesn't suit them as players, they look to me like they've lost confidence in the system (rightly so IMO) and in themselves. They don't want the ball, they don't want to pass any distance, the system doesn't let them play with the freedom off the ball that their skills merit.
And we all have bad days at work. And when that happens a good manager will make sure that confidence doesn't drop, shows that they have faith in the employees so they go out next time in the right frame of mind. That clearly didn't happen after Swansea. It needs to happen now which I why I say get rid of these three demotivating dullards and bring in someone, anyone, who will give these players the freedom and confidence to play to their best. Because man for man we are way better than Fulham. But Hughton will guarantee us a loss.
