Google Maps reminds me...

...it was the Jurys Inn where we stayed, right on the quayside of the River Lee.

Just recalled some great little pub that was down a tight alley and had some good beers, I'll try and find that too...

Hmmm there's a few that do live music, so I'm not sure, but I think it was down the pedestrianised street (Oliver Plunkett St), so that whittles it down a bit.

I do recall eating out in one place now, but all I can recall was I think it was upstairs above something else!

Oh I didn't realise the infamous Spike Island was just down the river.

Bloody hell, if you zoom out enough you get the UK lit up with red dots for pubs, despite having 'pubs in Cork, Ireland' in the search bar!

I'm not helping much here, am I...?
