As a road cyclist myself (and driver), completely agree with you and 51eve about the pointless aggression and lack of patience of some drivers. And the sense that people are in a crazy hurry (mostly pointless as overtaking cyclists dangerously rarely makes any difference to when you get to the next red traffic light etc).
