that's the problem a club of our position has though

you either go for players with premier league quality at times, but who are inconsistent (Bassong, Fer, Redmond, Snodgrass, Tettey).

Or players who are more consistent, but lack the quality (Turner, Gutierrez, Hooper, Elmander).

It's very difficult to get both, as bigger clubs will always try to snap them up. I think I'd prefer to watch a team of the former players than a team of the latter group though.
