Defender Joseph Yobo feels "at home" in Norwich and would be open to staying on at Carrow Road next season - but maintains the only focus at the moment is helping the Canaries staying in the Barclays Premier League.

The 33-year-old Nigeria international is currently on loan from Fenerbahce, having joined during the January transfer window.

Yobo - who enjoyed the best part of decade at Everton before heading to Turkey in 2010 - insists his short-term focus is on helping guide Norwich towards safety, with Chris Hughton's men away to Swansea this weekend.

"You never know, everything in football is possible," Yobo said when asked if he wanted to stay on in Norfolk next season.

"I am happy here, I have been very welcomed and do not feel as if I have been away for too long.

"The players and the football club have received me, it feels like home - the only thing missing is my family, they are not here.

"Otherwise, I am well settled right now and am happy about being here.

"But I can't make a decision because I am contracted to Fenerbahce in Turkey.

"I am taking one day at a time and am hopefully going to review the situation at the end of the season.

"Most important is Norwich staying up and pushing up the league, other things will follow after that."

Yobo feels Norwich can now build some momentum following on from last weekend's 2-0 home win over Sunderland, which put some daylight between themselves and the bottom three.

"We are fighting to beat the relegation zone and to move higher up the league, so every game is important," the defender said.

"When we want it more, we always get it (at home) and now we have to take that to the away games as well.

"We have not really played badly away from home, so if we can believe in ourselves more and reduce the mistakes we make, then we can get the result."

Norwich are without a Premier League victory on the road since a 2-0 success at West Brom in early December.

Yobo added: "Swansea are fighting to stay up, so we are kind of in the same sort situation.

"It is going to be a very difficult game with both teams looking to get points.

"We just want to do our best to make sure we get the result."

Defender Michael Turner will be back in the squad for the trip to Wales following hamstring injury.

Hughton, meanwhile, revealed Norwich were likely to allow 19-year-old winger Jacob Murphy out on loan to Southend, where Canaries striker Jamar Loza scored on his full debut for the Sky Bet League Two side in their 3-0 win over Oxford on Monday night.
