Pathetic government spin regarding the flooding
The truth is that the government only allowed the Environmental Agency to spend 400k on the dredging in Somerset. The EA asked for more money to do it but the govt turned them down.
The Tories are now desperately trying to blame the chairman of the EA for the flooding.
