I lurk on here all the time as an exile, to keep up with City news. Oh, and to find out about soup preferences in the fine city. Today i want to stick up for Wolfie.
The boy did okay today when he came on. I dont get how he can be slated for "missing" the chance that Redders squared back towards the end. The way I saw it, he made a great run and gambled that was where the ball was going, rather than being stationary, easy to pick up and on his heals. He missed the ball by a whisker as far as I could see. It wasnt s**t play on his part, but quite unlucky.
The boy has way too many goals in his part to be a total donkey - he's no Beckford - and he's played most of the season with an injury before missing months of game time. I still think he will come good and will start chipping in as Hooper does.
