As you'll immediately see from the many, many replies (and a huge number of subsequent new posts, too), the community here is very saddened by the news you so thoughtfully passed on yesterday.

As you will see, your dad was incredibly highly thought of and very popular on here. For that as well as no doubt many many other reasons, you should feel very proud.
