Dear Lyndsey, I am so sorry to hear the news

As so many others have said, your dad was one of the most popular members of this virtual village. A really witty, good-natured and intelligent poster. So many of us really liked him without ever having met him, and your loss as his daughter must be terribly hard. I am so sorry.

If you can face it and have the time, do please post details of any practical things like where to send flowers or donations or whatever. Totally understood if you have other things to worry about.
