Oh christ! That is terrible & tragic news

My condolences to you and your family, Lyndsey. If there's anything I can do please let me know.

I got to know Alan through this board and though we never met (I live in Denmark otherwise I'm sure that would have happened) we did exchange several emails a few years back. He even sent me some comedy DVDs once. I considered him a friend.

Genuinely a lovely bloke on here as well as in real life (to the extent that I knew him anyway). Articulate, easy going and witty. And he liked some decent music (and some rubbish too of course). One of the best posters on here without a shadow of a doubt.

He did mention you from time to time, Lyndsey and you could tell he was immmensely proud of you and missed you terribly as I believe you live a fair distance away.

I'm really upset by this :(
