The Board sounded like they thought he was angling for a move as they wanted his position to be more definite? Personally I thought he looked as if he had mentally moved on over the last couple of months perhaps as he couldn't find a way to revitalise the squad and get them out of their current rut.

Guess we'll never know the truth.
