What result do we want from the Palace v West Brom game?

A draw initially doesn't sound too bad, however a draw combined with a West Ham win at Villa and a defeat for us would see us drop into the relegation zone on goal difference.

If either West Brom or Palace win then Cardiff would have to win at Swansea as well as West Ham winning and there would have to be a 4 goal shift in gd for us to drop into the bottom 3.

Obviously either WBA or Palace winning would put one of them 2 points ahead of us (presuming we lose), but it may well be our best chance of staying out of the relegation zone.

Obviously I desperately want us to beat citeh, but I just can't see it and I desperately do not want to see us drop into the bottom 3, but equally I don't want our relegation rivals to win?????

Psychologically what effect would dropping into the bottom 3 have on the players?
