I think it's the same at most grounds to be honest

Look at Newcastle yesterday. They've had a good season, recently went on a fantastic run and are playing good football. Lose a derby game at home and there were people running on the pitch, throwing season tickets at Pardew etc. From the outside looking in, people might say "what do they expect?". But I'm sure they have their reasons - the Board mainly, and so they're only ever a defeat away from turning.

Similar with us, but for different reasons. The only fans who seem to have backed their team through ups and downs this season are Palace, and they kind of expected to go down and are therefore just determined to try to enjoy it. We were similar in season one in the Prem under Lambert - though we exceeded expectations.

Now, two and a bit years in and with the type of football being played, the novelty has worn off, expensive (for us) new signings were trumpeted (WHO's AFRAID OF THE BIG BAD WOLF?" - er, no-one) and people are furious that the Board have not either sacked Hughton or shown some ambition and backed him with some attacking signings. We may well have tried, but if we did, we failed...
