Feeling sick after watching that, even tho I knew the resultt

I really don't know what else we could have done to win the game yesterday. Yes - probably Redmond and Fer should have been on from the start, but I honestly don't think it would have made any difference. We had absoluetly no luck - nothing - and on top of it, the opposition again had a keeper that was outstanding! The save low down from Redmond's shot coming through a group of players was exceptional, to say the least. So I actually feel for Hughton after this game. If we can keep that up for the rest of the season we'll be okay - question is will we? Sadly, history tells me we won't. But even though we played well in patches, for a team with three defensive coaches, our defence is generally appalling, and too easily carved up by the opposition. Bassong seems to have lost all the confidence he had last year and I think it's affecting the team as a whole. It's heartbreaking to see him with the ball these days, one or two steps forward, looks up, stops, turns, then passes sideways or backwards. And really slow when getting back from corners.
