Just back from the Diss meeting

Made a comment about how all we ever hear is 'stick together', 'back to basics', 'work hard in training'and it doesn't do any good.

What response did I get - pretty much along the lines of 'stick together' ! Doug Livermore said that and that it was a crazy comment to say Worthy should go and cited Luton as an example of the improvement - what about Millwall!?! Any time a difficult question about the team was asked, the board just sat there and let Livermore do his best Worthy impression about hard work in training! The board only really answered the nice questions - OK, they aren't football experts but we would like to know what they think.

I came back and said how long could we go on with no sign of improvement and was cut off by Gunny with something like: 'stick behind the team and it'll all be alright'.
