Was buying (or not selling) Ashton a mistake if it means we can't afford a whole squad?

Great as it is to have him and I didn't want him to be sold in August, at least if we had we might have had some money to strengthen other areas.

But then of course if we had got a load of money, Worthy would have frittered it away on expensive strikers, goalkeepers and fullbacks!

Still no right winger in sight.
