This "Charlton Model"...

that we are allegedly following. I had assumed it was Charlton Athletic it was based on but now I'm starting to suspect it's actually Simon Charlton. Quite decent once in an unspectacular, relaiable, sort of way but now rather pedestrian and immobile and gradually working his way down through the leagues towards oblivion.
