What's the betting no-one is willing to stump up the millions for a player who, while still firmly carrying all the baggage that he brings, no longer brings the ability which made putting up with the w**ker worthwhile ?

I reckon he'll end up managing / assistant managing the Republic of Oirland myself.

That would be a "f**k off" to Mick McCarthy while taking a massive pay cut without losing face.
