Don't worry Vic. It is a mad sum of money, but (a) everyone else in the league will have a similar amount, and (b) Delia will not bet the farm on strengthening their squad.

Delia is hugely motivated by money, and their relative lack of investment compared to other teams (e.g. Cardiff) will rebound on them. When they were struggling in January, Luciano Becchio was the stellar signing, and this approach will not change.

The only team to buck the financial trend in the top flight has been Swansea, and they have a footballing philosophy which enables players to play way beyond their level. Norwich are light years from doing this.

Objectively, they have reached the limit of their ambitions. I'd be amazed if I am proved wrong.
