techie help please!

does anyone use Panda platinum security? i keep getting a stupid f**king Panda(no disrespect FP!) jumping up at the bottom of my screen every 2 minutes with various messages about what i can and cant do! it's getting on my tits! does anyone know if i can run it in the background without it annoying me. If it helps i run AOL 9.0 as my internet conection(dial-up)
