With all of this talk of Holt being moved on, who could we afford to bring that's better?

Look at these premier league goal records from this season:

Fletcher 11
Defoe 11

Torres 7
Carroll 7
Crouch 6

Al of those players seem to be rated to a certain extent, but their records aren't that much better, especially if you consider the "top" players on that list who cost a fortune and earn a huge wedge.

Holt probably could have had a better season, but when you look at that list it's not as if he's been shocking. We've hardly created a tonne of chances for him either, whether that be through poor play or bad tactics.

It might be a bit naive to write him off completely, or sell him.
